Lucrum Mount Installation

I finally got some help for my winch installation.

I installed my Warn M8000 winch, brush guard and auxilliary lights
in one day. All day. The photos slowed me down a little.
Sorry for the close up shots. I had to limit the photos at the
end because I heard thunder.

Before

I removed the grill tabs using a flathead screwdriver

I removed these grill screws.
The Lucrum instruction show the removal of the
headlight screw. I don't know why.

The grill should pull out with a little tug.

I removed all of the bumper cover tabs

I removed all of the bumper cover bolts

The bumper cover should come off with a tug

I removed all eight of the bumper nuts

The bumper will slide off.
I had to remove the skid plate also.

Look at this fine craftsmanship

I had to file the fingers on the passenger side to make the mount fit

I had to install a piece of rubber to protect this hose.
No notch was cut for this by Lucrum ???

Trial fit. The two leg support bolts are not shown.
They bolt directly into the frame on the side

I attached the Hawse Fairlead plate and marked the holes
for the D-rings

After praying I drilled the holes.
I drilled 1/8" then 1/2" (fresh sharp drill bits)

I removed the steel winch cable before installation.
I'm waiting for delivery of my 100' 3/8" AmSteel Blue synthetic cable and
didn't want to scratch my Hawse fairlead.

I wanted to install the control box on the brush
guard so I fed the (ground) wire through the grill before
installing the winch. The gound wire bolt is on the bottom.

The winch and D-rings are installed

I removed the lower grill from the bumper cover

I prayed again and cut my bumper.
I was agressive and cut to the edge (not recommended)
but looks ok.

The queazy should leave a 1/2" and trim later.

I installed everything and mounted the control box
with hose clamps.

After

Summary
Everything looks ok but it hasn't been tested.
I wasn't aware of the radical design change by Lucrum.

I wasn't impressed at all by the Lucrum group buy process.
It took forever to be delivered and the hardware was shipped
loose in the box with many missing pieces.
The installation instructions aren't so great either.

I was told that I would be sent a new hardware kit but I only recieved
the D-ring bolts. After four months of waiting for the
mount I said "f**k it" and went to Home Depot and
bought my own hardware.

If I could reverse the Earth I would buy the ARB bumper and install
it in one week after ordering.
